A Little Wander is a 2D interactive storybook game about a small child apprentice magician who continues forward after losing their magic. At each point in the journey, the player chooses between two possible paths, but neither route leads to a hard fail state or a correct answer. Instead, the game uses soft hand-drawn visuals, gentle detours, and deadpan narration to reframe minor failure as something recoverable, awkward, and strangely funny. Rather than punishing the player for choosing wrongly, A Little Wander asks what it might mean for failure to become part of the journey itself.
