Vefr3D is a self-hosted 3D-model generative toolkit made for internal use in game development studios to speed up the process of greyboxing. Developers simply upload a picture of an object and the tool will convert it to a 3D model in Blender. This tool makes the process of acquiring custom objects for greyboxing more convenient, private and cost-effective. It integrates industry-standard tools in Blender and ComfyUI that developers would find familiar and easy to customise. Not only is it convenient, it is fully self-hosted and has various security features to prevent unauthorised access or leaking of intellectual property. Lastly, as the installation uses all open-source software and can run on low-end graphics hardware, long-term usage by large teams would not incur any additional running costs.
