All That You Change

Yue Li,  Still, Here

Still, Here takes 'home' as its central narrative medium, constructing two domestic spaces from different eras. One is a modern apartment colonized by schedules, notifications, and the logic of efficiency; the other is a millennial-era family home filled with worn furniture, the lingering warmth of a dinner table, and amber-tinted light.

Drawn from the 'millennial nostalgia' movement on Chinese social media — a collective emotional response to the accelerating pace of digital life — the game invites players to explore these spaces and interact with everyday objects that surface memories, piecing together two different stories of what 'home' means.

Yuna is a researcher and game designer based in London. Her work sits at the intersection of interactive media, memory, and temporal experience — particularly how digital environments can translate collective emotional experiences into felt, embodied encounters, and the potential of game design as a medium for reflective, meaning-making experience.
