Recordando: La Guerra Dentro deNuestras paredes” is a Documentary about my family’s experience with the narco wars in Colombia in the late 80’s. This film is extremely personal to me as it took me through a journey of uncovering my family’s violent and silent past. Using archival and non-censored footage from the time, I aim to show what media was like at the time: constantly violent and very real - there was no break from the terrors of Pablo Escobar. This is about the victims and how they are still being affected today by the shockwaves of narco-trade and its clear control over the country.
