All the Right Things is a political satire short film inspired by the results of the 2024 US presidential elections and the post-truth societal contexts that produced them, tracing the narrative of Chris Tyler, a fresh, apolitical campaign intern torn between his moral code and ambition as his callous manager and uncle-in-law Daniel Kirk increasingly involves him in the production of campaign materials for controversial presidential nominee John Klossner. Structured around a triad of original campaign videos, All the Right Things seeks to highlight the illogicality of contemporary society’s propensity for conflating truth and authenticity, building on existing research into political spectacle, performance and advertising.
